I’m Li Hua, chairman of the Students' Union of Xin Hua Middle School. I' m greatly honored to deliver a speech here.

First of all, I would like to warmly congratulate the establishment of Confucius Classroom. Born in the Spring and Autumn Period in ancient China, Confucius is well-known as a great Chinese thinker and educator. His philosophy, called Confucianism, attached great importance to self-cultivation,harmonious relationships and respect for the elderly. He was a great teacher as well and promoted education for ordinary people.
