不少人脾气一来便脱口而出
但大家可别把它理解成“咬我啊”

“bite me”是什么意思？
bite me是一句很常用的英语俚语
意思是：要你管；你管得着吗？
也可以表达：去你的！闭嘴吧！
强调对某人某事的恼怒或者不耐烦
例：
A：I can't believe you're still using your Nokia phone.
真不敢相信你现在还在用诺基亚手机。
B：So what? Bite me！
那又怎样？你管得着吗！

“bite your tongue”是什么意思？
bite one's tongue = 缄口不语；保持沉默
例：
I am going to bite my tongue.
我会守口如瓶的。
I wanted to tell him exactly what I thought of him, but I had to bite my tongue.
我本想明确告诉他我对他的看法，可是不得不保持沉默。
还有两个类似的表达
bite one's lip = 忍住不说话；抑制情感流露
例：
I really wanted to laugh, I had to bite my lip.
我真的想笑，但只能忍住。
bite sth back = 忍住（话）；抑制（情感）
bite back tears / laughter
忍住眼泪／笑声
例：

例：

bite in the ass是一个常用俚语
字面意思是“咬在屁股上”
其实是用来表达：
自食其果；搬起石头砸自己的脚
例：
I think it was really a bad decision and it' going to bite them in the ass.
我觉得这是一个非常糟糕的决定，而他们最终将会自食其果。
