Dear Tom,

How are you doing these days? Our school held a series of events in celebration of World Reading Day on April 23.

First of all, our teacher introduced the “Reading Circle” activity for the purpose of improving our reading and writing skills. Then, we were organized to read the classical works like Pride and Prejudice. At last, the headmaster delivered a speech, whose theme was “Books are Friends”.

After the day, we all learned reading could broaden our horizons and making ourselves a better person.
